We got into Angel Fire at 6:45 p.m. New Mexico time. Jim drove from Tempe to Santa Fe, and I took over in Santa Fe and got us into Becky and Russ's driveway. During our ten hour ride, we listened to the radio, started our Thai conversational tapes (now that is going to be a chore!!!), did a crossword puzzle, and started a Teaching Company course on Great Books in History. The temperature was 66 degrees when we arrived. After dinner we went out on the deck to gab and must have been a sight as we were huddled in blankets; it was 60 degrees!! Yes, we are wimps. This morning it is 41 degrees, according to Becky's computer. The boys are playing golf with Russ's friend Marvin today, and he and his wife Debbee will come over for dinner tonight. Becky and I plan to get a walk in this morning and then start in on our puzzle.
