We had a phone call this morning from Brian that he had been in a motorbike accident with Ann's cousin. While cruising along at approximately 40 mph, a dog ran in front of the motorbike. Brian said there was no time to brake or stop or turn to avoid hitting the dog. (Unfortunately, in Thailand, this is not a unique scenario.) They were checked out at the hospital; and thankfully, their injuries were mainly scrapes and bruises. Brian had been using the motorbike instead of the car to save on gas as their gas prices have also skyrocketed. Brian assures us that Ann insists that he drive the car to work again. Diane was at Mass this morning in thanksgiving for answered prayers!
